What OOTK does best

Its strengths are objective analysis and clear conceptual models.

The meaning is left to your AI.

Your first reading, step by step

  1. See what you get

A reading here is not an interpretation. It is a list of cards, their correspondences and how they interact, written as a prompt for your AI. The sample below is a whole Opening of the Key.

  2. Start with one card

Today’s card is the same for everyone, so it is an easy first prompt to try.

  3. Draw three cards

Past, present and future. Add a question if you like, or leave it blank.

  4. Give the prompt to your AI

On the report, press Copy and open to copy the prompt and open Claude, ChatGPT or another AI, then paste it in. Your AI writes the interpretation from the cards and calculations in the prompt.

  5. Learn what the numbers mean

The library explains each term in the report, and the method page shows how it is all worked out and where it falls short.

A sample Opening of the Key

All four operations · 75 cards · seed 12345 · significator Queen of Cups

Tap a card to see it. Tap an element to pick out its cards.

Seed 12345, with the Queen of Cups as significator, dealt 75 cards over four operations: 15 in the heap, 12 houses, 12 signs and 36 decans. The heap opens on the Queen of Cups (significator / core nature of question) and closes on Art (ultimate climax / resolution).

Across all 75 cards the elements are 18 Fire, 16 Water, 18 Air and 23 Earth. Of the 68 scored pairs, 16 share an element, 31 are friendly and 21 are contrary, a net score of +21. Seven of the heap's cards sit on the Cube of Space. What it means is left to your AI.

Learning stages

The twelve spreads, grouped from first steps to the full Opening of the Key. Each stage adds one new idea.

Stage 1

Single cards

What one card carries: its attribution, element, Hebrew letter or Sephira, and King Scale colour. Three cards add a past, present and future.

Stage 2

Elements in pairs

Elemental dignities: whether neighbouring cards strengthen or weaken each other, and the four worlds of the Tetragrammaton.

Stage 3

Whole layouts

Cards placed on the planets of the hexagram and the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life, and how each position relates to the others.

Stage 4

The Opening of the Key

The Golden Dawn’s long method, one operation at a time: a significator, then the houses, the signs and the 36 decans, and finally all four together.

Each link opens the start page with that spread chosen.

Where the cards come from

Tarot began as a card game in 1440s Italy. Its occult meanings came much later, from the Golden Dawn in 1880s London, whose former members made both decks used here: A. E. Waite and Pamela Colman Smith in 1909, and Aleister Crowley and Lady Frieda Harris between 1938 and 1943.
