The card Adjustment was originally called Justice. But Crowley decided that this was not the correct name for it, for Justice implied a human condition, not one of Nature.
Good balance between logic and emotion, worldly and spiritual affairs; detached observation. Card of the mediator or arbitrator. Can also denote legal action, contracts, divorce, or marriage depending upon the surrounding cards. In the possibility of marriage, the arrangment is more for convenience; also one where marriage contracts may be signed. Favorable sign in the case of a legal question. This card is on of the Karmic cards. Any injustice being done or experienced by the client must be viewed nnot only in a worldly manner, but also in relation to the cosmos.
